Two years after launch, AssetStewardship.com’s interests have expanded from observing the political and financial challenges of public/ private partnerships to the organizational, cultural and financial challenges of modernizing ancient infrastructure and using technology and data to improve public services.  Terms of art like “civic tech” are entering the vocabulary.  Concerns about making clean water freely available to the world’s thirsty, making buildings, roads, bridges and transportation safe and available and bringing new digital tools, data, code and social media, to city, regional and state officials now keep us awake at night.
